no divided bu 9 ,6,21 also divided by 3
so no divided by 2,3 are 266

no divided by 4,6,14 is also divided by 2.....
no divided by 9,6,21 is also divided by 3....
so no divided by 2 is 199 & no divided by 3 is 133
so total (199+133)=332,
now there are some common factors that are the multiple of 6.
the no that numbers is 66
so total no=(332-66)=266
so 266 is the ans.

answer is 588 .
in d ques the statement is 2,3,4,6,9,14 or 21... OR means how many numbers are there divisible by 2 or 3 or 4 ....so on

let number be n
n/2 =199
n/3=133
n/4=99
n/6=99
n/9=44
n/14=28
n/21=19

total = 588

ans should be 265.. not 266.
Because Total numbers are 399 below 400.
no. div by 2 = 199
no. not div by 2 = 200.
so. in 200 no. div by 3 = 66
since, no divided by 4,6,14 also divided by 2
no divided by 9 ,6,21 also divided by 3
hence, 199+66 = 265
therefore option should be 265.

@jithin prakash ..but after dividing by 3 it is coming 133 and after adding with 198 it becomes 331 ..how it is explain?

it all comes down to number of numbers less than 400 that are divisible by 2,3,7.
let n(x)=numbers divisible by 2 which are less than 400.
final answer=n(2)+n(3)+n(7)-n(6)-n(21)-n(14)+n(42).

till 400 all even numbers will be divisible by 2 ( 200 even numbers) remaining 200 odd numbers 1 3 5 7 9 ..... 399 200/3 = 67 will be divisible by 3, as we have discarded all even numbers and out of remaining numbers 2nd number is 3 then 1 + 198/3 = 67 numbers are divisible by 3.so total 266
