1/x + 2/x + 3/x =6/x = 2

x=6*2=12
x is time for a. so time for b = 12/2(half the time)=6

If A,B & C alone can complete the work in a, b & c days respectively,
1 day work of A=1/a=1/(2b) ---(i) & 1/a =1/(3c) ---(ii)
From (i) & (ii), 1/c=3/(2B)
As 1 day work of A,B & C together=1/2 ,So (1/a)+(1/b)+(1/c)=1/2
or 1/(2b) + 1/b + 3/(2b) =1/2
On solving, b=6

here A takes X days B=x/2,c=X/3 days to complete a job.
one day work of each=1/x+2/x+3/x=1/2
x=12
B done it in X/2=12/2=6 days
