sum of roots=-q
product=r
means both -ve roots

nswer must be both negative (A)
as m+n= -q
and m*n = r

if m and n are of opposite sign, then m*n must be negative
But r is a positive number...

if both m and n are positive, then m+n must be positive..
but m+n is negative here..

which shows that m and n both are negative...

Both must be positive

because
sum=+ and only + + += +
product=+ and + * +=+ if we take - & -then sum may be -ve or +ve
as dont know exact sign and greater no's sign
