ans:600km
s=d/t
let the distance travelled by a=x km
the distance travelled by b=(x+120) km
x=40*t
x+120=60*t
on solving we get t=6
x=240,x+120=360
so total distance=600km

1 hour- 40

B speed 60kmph
then in 1 hour - 60
2 " 120
3 " 180
4 " 240

AFTER 6 HOUR THEY MEET the traven distance is (360-240 =120)
so total distance is 240+360 =600 ans

total distance=(40*6)+(60*6)=600

Relative difference b/w them is 20km/hr
and the 2nd train traveled 120KM more. So divide 120 by 20 we get 6. and multiply 6 with both like 6*40=240 & 6*60=360..Now 240+360=600km.

let x be distance traveled by A
then B traveled x+120km
as they traveled for same time
then
(x/40)=(x+120)/60
on solving it we get
x=240
there fore A traveled 240 km & B 360 km
then total distance is 240+360=600 km

total speed=(40+60)=100kmph
s=d/t
d=s*t
x=40*t
x+120=60*t
by solving t=6sec
now total distance=s*t
d=100*6
=600km

distance=(120*100)/20
answer is:600

A travels at 40kmph and B travels at 60kmph
after certain time the difference speed is (60-40) = 20kmph
120km difference will be in (120/20)= 6hrs
in 6 hrs A will travel 40*6= 240km and B will travel 60*6=360km
so the total distance is (240+360)=600km

on solving
we get to know
A covers 240km
B covers 360km
so final is 600km ans.

A (speed)=40km/hr & B(speed)=60km/hr
time =constant(both A& B take same time)
let A cover distance=x & B cover distance=(120+x)( a/q )
SO 40*(120+X) = 60*X
we get x=240
so total distance cover by A&B=x+(120+x)=600

let the distance be xkm,then s=d/t
t=x/40---(1) for A
For B
t=120+x/60--(2)
since by the time they meet b have travelled 120km than A
equate 1 and 2 and solve
then x=240km
120+x=320
total distance=240+360=600km .so,ans =600km
