let x is length of train
then speed is x/15 or (100+x)/25
so x/15=(100+x)/25
25x=15x+1500
25x-15x=1500
x=1500/10.
x=150 meters
length of train is 150 meters

let assume train length is x mtr
speed is y m/s
t=d/s
15=x/y so y=x/15
=> x+100/25=y
=> x+100/25=x/15
x=150 m

speed = lenght of platform +lenght of pole/time taken
let lenght of pole be=x,given time =15 seconds
x/15=x+100/25
x=1500/10
x=150mts

let the length of train be x metre. now to cross the platform train needs to pass its own length too i.e 100+x m so speed of train is (100+x/25) now it crosses its own length of x m in 15 s as pole has no length. speed remains same. hence ((100+x)/25)=x/15 i.e x=150m

answer is 150 m/s
as per the question for extra 100 m distance the train took 10 extra seconds so the speed of the train is 10m/s
and hence the speed is 15*10=150 m/s

y=speed
y=x/15
x+100/25=x/25
x=150

the ans will be 150m
let the speed of the train will be s
a/c to the question s*15+100=s*25
(here it is the concept of relative speed)
then we will find s=10m/s
so the length of the train is s*15=10*15=150m

then x/15=(100+x)/25
=> 5x=300+3x
=>x=150

Let the length of the train be x
While passing pole x/15
While passing platform x+100/25
so,
x/15=(x+100)/25
x/3=(x+100)/5
5x=3x+300
2x=200
x=150

so,
Ans=150 meter

Time= Train length(TL)/ speed(S) (for crossing pole)
15 sec= TL/S......(1)
Time= TL+ Platform length(PL)/ Speed (for crossing platform)
25 sec= TL+PL/S.....(2)
FROM (1) AND (2)
TL/15=TL+100/25
TL=150.

speed of train=x/15
speed of platform = (100-x/25
(100-x)/25= x/15
ans: 150 m

100/25=4m/sec
it take 15 sec to cross a pole so length of train=15*4=60m

Speed of train will be same in both cases.
So.. let length of train is=x meter
now (x+100)/25=x/15
so x=150 meter
