from first person we will get the equation
L = (5/2)(S - 2)
from the second person we will get the equation
L = (25/9)(S - 4)
by solving both the equations S = 22
from dat L = 50

Speed of slower person is 2kmph = 0.555555556 m/s
distance covered in 9 sec = 5m
Speed of Faster person is 4kmph = 1.111111111 m/s
distance covered in 10 sec = 11.1111111 m
speed of train=total distance covered/time
in case of slower person
s=d/9
9s=d
in case of faster person
s={d+(11.11111-5)}/10
comes out
d=50
taking out 5 m covered by slower person
so length of train = 50-5
=4
