Let the numbers be x and y, such that x > y

Then, 3x - 4y = 5 ...(i) and (x + y) - 6 (x - y) = 6 => -5x + 7y = 6 …(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii), we get: x = 59 and y = 43.

Hence, the required numbers are 59 and 43.

Let, the two numbers are x and y,
Assume, x= larger and y= smaller
such that x>y,

3x-4y=5.............treat it as eqn (1)

(x+y) > 6(x-y)

x+y- 6x+6y = 6..........i.e -5x+7y = 6.........treat it as eqn (2)

compute eqn (1)*5 and eqn (2)*(-3),
we get,

15x-20y=25......(3)
15x-21y=-18 .......(4)

solve eqn (3) and eqn (4), will get
y= 43
x= 59

according to question we get 3x-4y=5 ------(1)
and 15x-21y=-18-----(2) two equations on solving we get values as 59,43

7x-5y=0.........2
after solving we get x=25 and y=35
