cp= sp/100=40*40.
1963/140*100=1402.
satatment 1 only sufficient

from 1 st statement we r able to find the ans as sp is given and gain percent is given
so cp =sp-gain%/100
so from 1st statement we get our ans
now come to 2nd statement he is giving discount to sbi card holder and after that selling price was given this question is incomplelete as in elitmus paper in 2nd srtatement also sp was given
so ans is both the statement are alone sufficent to ans

statement 2-for sbi credit card holders there is a discount of 10% n the phone was sold at a profit of rs 403...
so statement 1 is alone sufficient fr finding the manufactruing cost of d phone...

so profit is 40%..
40% of 1963 gives profit amount..
so remaining is manufacture cost..
