Solution

let the quantity of 11 Rs/Kg rice is x so quantity of the other rice = 171-x
According to the given condition 171*7 = x*11 + (171-x)*2
so 1197 = 11x + 342 - 2x
or 855 = 9x
or 95 = x

by allegation method, we get that two rice are mixed in ratio of 5:4.

so quantity of 11 kg rice in 171 kg mixture = 5*171/9 = 95 kg
