ans 7^173 has the unit digit of 7.

first observe the pattern:
7^1=7
7^2=49
7^3=343
7^4=2401
7^5=16807

unit digit pattern is like: (7,9,3,1), (7,9,3,1),.....and so on.
so 173%4=1 i.e remainder=1
it means in last group ( of 4 elements) we have only one element .
and we know unit digit of first element of each group is 7.

ANS: 7
