Let B's capital be Rs.x
then,
3500*12/7x = 2/3
or, 3500*12*3 = 14x
x = 9000
so option D

Let B's capital be Rs. x.

Then, 3500 x 12 = 2
7x 3
14x = 126000

x = 9000.

Let the profit b x times the money contributed per year.
So, the total profit of A after a year = 3500x.
Let the contribution of B be equal to M.
Now, the total profit of B in 7 months = M*7/12*x.
Therefore, (3500*x)/(M*7/12*x) = 2/3.
M*7/12 = 3/2*3500.
M = 12/7*3/2*3500 = 18/7*3500 = 18*500 = 9000 Rs.

3500*12 : x*7 = 2:3 More Share, More Profit (ie Directly proportional )
=> 3500*12 / 7*x = 2/3 => x= 9000 (Option D)
