Answer is : d)Sunday.
Explanation:
non leap year has 365 days.
subtract 1st day of january, remaining days is 364 days.
364%7=0(no remainder)
so last day is sunday.
0->sunday
1->monday.......6->saturday.

for a leap year starting day and ending day are differ by 1
for example first day of 1996 is Monday then last day is Tuesday
where as for normal year the starting day and ending day are same
for example first day of 1997 is Monday then last is also Monday.
Hence as far as my knowledge is concerned 1999 is a Normal year.So first and last day is same that is Sunday.
