Let x be the new (combined) price of the 3 pieces.

Using ratio and proportion,
square of old weight / old price = square of new weights / new price

(3+2+5)^2 / 20000 = (3^2 + 2^2 + 5^2) / x
100 / 20000 = (9+4+25)/x
1/200 = 38/x
x = 200*38
x = 7600

Loss is 20000 - 7600 = 12400 Rs

(3+2+5)^2/20000=(3^2+2^2+5^2)/x.
x=7600.
20000-7600=12400.
