If earlier average wt was x and y was wt of person who left the boat.

Then
25*x -y +70 = 25*(x+1)= 25x +25
y = 70-25 = 45 kg.
Weight of the man who is going is 45 kg.

General formula:
vaiue of added quantity = (change in avg *avg nos) +value of removed quantity

70= ( 1*25) +?

ans : 45 kg.

difff in age of new and old man=25*1
since avg incresse on coming new man
| X-70|=25
70-X=25
X=45

W1 = avg weight initially
25 * W1 = weight of 25 persons in itially
Let weight of the man who leaves = W
remaining 24 persons weight is = 25 W1 - W
When new man comes in total weight = 25 W1 - W + 70
Average weight of the new set of 25 persons = (25 W1 - W +70) / 25
= W1 + 1 one more than previous average
=> 25W1 - W +70 = 25 W1 + 25
=> W = 45 Kg
