given TD=20, S=260 from these we can know PW=S-TD=260-20=240
given TD for sum is 20
SI on PW is TD
=>SI on 240 is 20
now given TD is half of the former time
=> SI on 240 is 10
=> TD on 250(i.e 240+10) is 10 (since given TD on sum=PW+TD is half the former time)
=> TD on 260=(10/250)*260=Rs10.40

hence 10 rs
