in 2 dice case
possibilities are
sum no. of times
2 1
3 2
4 3
5 4
6 5
7 6
8 5
9 4
10 3
11 2
12 1
so answer should be 7 but out of 4 options 8 will be the answer.

There ia only one dice how can we throw two dices. So this puzzle is not solvable.

There is some confusion in the question.
Still If 2 dies are thrown then 7 comes for the max times i.e.6
because:when 1 comes on the 1st dice and any no. on 2nd then max sum is 7
but when 6 comes on 1st dice and any no. on 2nd then min sum is 7
so 7 comes at at least once for each no. in between.
