2/7 or 0.2857 is the probability of 53 Sundays in a leap year.

Leap year consist of 366 days.
On that we have, 52 weeks and 2 days.

That 2 days may be

Sun,Mon
Mon,Tue
Tue,Wed
Wed,Thu
Thu,Fri
Fri,Sat
Sat,Sun

We have 7 options.
Among that we have to choose only 2 options which has Sundays. (i.e, [Sun Mon] or [Sat Sun]

So that, the answer is 2/7 for having 53 Sundays.

Ans. probability of 53 Sundays in a leap year = 2/7
In leap year there are 52 full weeks and two days. The last two days can be in one of the following 7 pairs as:
Saturday-Sunday, Sunday-Monday, Monday-Tuesday, Tuesday-Wednesday, Wednesday-Thursday, Thursday-Friday, Friday-Saturday.
Here two pairs out of seven pairs contain Sunday.
So probability of 53 Sundays in a leap year is = 2/7
