6.67% of sodium chloride of solution is remains.

Before the evaporation occurs,the tank contains,
10,000 *5% ==> 10,000 *5/100 = 500 gallons of sodium chloride.

After the evaporation occurs,the tank contains,
10,000 - 2,500 = 7,500 gallons of solution.(Since 500gallons are sodium chloride)

So,
500/7500 = 1/15
=0.0666666667 *100
=6.67% of sodium chloride.

5% of 10000 =500 gallon of salt & 9500gallons of water...9500-2500=7000gallon of water remains..so 500/(7000+500)=6.67% salt solution

sol:5% NaCl of 10,000 gallons=500 gallons
remaining sol after 2500 gallons evaporation =7500 gallons
% of NaCl of sol remaining = (500*100)/7500=6.66%

solution=10,000 gallons of nacl and water.
NaCl=5%x10,000= 500
therefore, water= 9500.

now water evaporated=2500
remaining water= 7000.
NaCl=500
Total=7500

Req perecentage= 500x1007500
= 10015
= 6.6667%
