these ppl is 114 yrs...then how old is the old woman?

Solve it Directly by Equations.
As no of week in year is =52 usually
so i+(i/12)+(i/52)+(i/365)=114
by solving we will get i= 103.13906. we can roundoff to 103 (Ans)

(365)x = 52(y)= 12(z)= k
x=k/365 y=k/12 z=k/12

total age =114
k=103.167 (old woman age)

total 114 satisfy the equation

As the question says.
The age of grandmother in yrs=age of granddaughter in months=age of granddaughter in weeks=age of grandaughter in days.
Solve it Directly by Equations.
As no of week in year is =52 usually
so i+(i/12)+(i/52)+(i/365)=114
by solving we will get i= 103.13906. we can roundoff to 103 .

Now we can see that 1st grandaughter is 113 months old i.e. 113/12= 9.416 yrs.
2nd ganddaughter age =113weeks i.e 113/52= 2.17 yrs old
3rg grandaughter age= 113 days i.e 113/365= 0.30959

Now add the ages of grandmaa and 3 grandaughters. it will sum upto 114yrs.

LET GRAND DAUGHTER AGE=X
THEN GRAND MOTHER AGE=3X

TOTAL=6X=114=>3X=57
THEREFORE AGE OF WOMAN=57
