when two wommen were added average age of 8 member increased by 2 years i.e they added 2 years to each member age so total age added 2*8=16
now two men who left teir total age are 35+45=80
so age of women who replaced them must be 80+16=96
so average age of joining women =96/2=48

Average age of those two women = 48years

Let the average age of 8 person = x
So, the age of 8 person = 8x
Then, after excluding two men = 8x-35-45

Let age of two women = 2y
8x-35-45 =8(x-2)-2y
Simplifies, we get
y = 48

We can solve it directly by applying this equation
let the combined ages of the two women= y
let the age of the remaining 6 person =x
so According to the Question
(x+y)-(x+35+45)/8 = 2.
Solving we will gey y=96.
so average will be 96/2= 48 (Ans)

let x be average age of 8 persons, y be the average age of two women,then

8x-80+2y=8x+16
2y=96
y=48
