Let time taken to meet be t
So,120=(60-50)*t
so,t=12hrs
So,total distance=110*12=1320

Let A covers x distance and B x+120 while they meet after a certain time.
=>x/50=(x+120)/60
=>x=600.
Therefore initial distance between A and B= 600+720=1320

b covered 120 more then initial distance=(120/10)*110

50X+6000=60x
10x=6000
x=600 km(ans)

AT TIME T THEY JUST CROSSED EACH OTHER .
SO DISTANCE TRAVEL BY A=D/50
DISTANCE BY B=D+120/60
TIME SHOULD BE SAME
SO ANS IS 600...PLZ CHECK

sol:-when both will meet the ratio of distances covered will be equal to ratio of their speed bcz they will spent same time.
let distance between A & B is d
since B has covered 120 km,then A has covered (d-120) km
hence
50/60=(d-120)/120
d=120+50/60*120=220km
