4 boys can be arranged in 4!
now b1 sits with g1.....so there are remaining 3 slots
where 3 girls can sit in 3!
again there can be 2 arrangemnts where the 1st one is a girl or a boy
so ans is 2*4!*3!=288

consider B1 and G1 as one unit, now 4 boys can be placed in 4! ways. the remaining 3 girls are having 4 places to sit i.e 4C3 ways. and B1, G1 can be arranged in 2 ways. hence the ans is 4!*4!*2

firstly arrange the boys and girls alternatively, so that the B1G1 B2 G2 B3 G3 B4 G4, here the B1G1 are considered as a single unit, so ans is 7!

48 ways.
for b1g1 alone 6 combination.so for all 24.
in the same way for g1b1 6 combinations posiible.totally 24+24=48

4 boys and 4 boys sit alternatel so
_b1_b2_b3_b4_ this is the criterion
so answer is=4!*5*4*3*2=2880

indra jeet ur answer is partially correct... in the second last line u say..

which is wrong...since if u permutate the girl and the boy...then condition of alternate will fail..2 g will sit together in that case.....u can check that...so answer will be 144..not 288.... CHIAMAILLA
