total sandwiches = 8
total money invested = 3*4 ( since each of a,b and c should pay equally)
price of 1 sandwich = 3*4/8 = 1.5
so, A invested 7.5 rs, B invested 4.5, so he should get 0.5 back

here c no bought any sandwitch
but here a and b bought 5 and 3 sanwith respectivly
now c only share 4 rs.
so a and b return rs. to c also in proportion of amount of purchasing sandwitch
hence check all option
b return=1.5
then a return will be =2.5
and ratio of these return comes out 3:5 that is ratio of amount of purchasing item hence option first 1.5 is correct

this type of question is easly solved with help of option . hence we take an option that b return 1.5 then a return=4-1.5=2.5 .....................PRACHITRIVEDI
