u1= root(2); u2=pi ;u3=u2-u1=pi-root(2); similarly u4=-root(2);u5=-pi;u6=-pi+root(2);u7=root(2);u8=pi;u9=pi-root(2).....if u observe clearly the pattern gets repeating for evry 6 terms..so 1000/6 =166 remainder 4 so -root(2) is the ans

values of Un is repeating after U6. Hence 1000/6 will give remainder 4. and value of U4 = -√2

On calculating
We get u3=π-√2
u4=-√2
u5=-π
u6=-π+√2
So the value is repeating after u6
So 99%6=3
98%6=2
So the ans will be -√2

u1= root(2); u2=pi ;u3=u2-u1=pi-root(2); similarly u4=-root(2);u5=-pi;u6=-pi+root(2);u7=root(2);u8=pi;u9=pi-root(2).....if u observe clearly the pattern gets repeating for evry 6 terms..so 1000/6 =166 remainder 4 so -root(2) is the correct answer.hope it is easy process
