600/24=25, max 25 rs/tea
24*25=600
24*24+24=600 => minm 24.1 rs/tea(let)

1000/15=66.66 , max 66.66 rs/coffee
65*15+25=1000
64*15+40=1000
63*15+55=1000
62*15+70=1000
62.5*15+62.5=1000 => minm 62.6 rs/coffee

if y be the no. of cup of coffes
so 8*24.1+y*62.6=2200 => y= 32.-- => maxm 32 cup of coffees

30 is the correct answer. 1 teacup=25rs.
Out of 2200, he has left 2000 in his pocket after buying 8 teacups. so, 15 coffecup in 1000 and 30 in 2000.

600/24=25rs/teacup
2200 in his pocket
and buy 8 teacups=8*25=rs200
remaining money=2200-200=rs2000
15 coffecups can buy rs1000
=>30coffecups can buy rs2000
ans: 30 no of cup of coffe

@rakesh, we get maximum 24 teacups from rs 600 so,
600/24 gives -> min rate i.e. 25rs/tea....not max 25rs/tea

as initially 1 teacup cost=600/24 =25
1 coffecup cost= 1000/15 =200/3
hence,8 teacup cost= 8*25=200
remaning money left= 2200-200= 2000
max no of cup of cofee= 2000*3/200= 30cups

For rs 600 if he can buy max 24 tea cups then each price is Rs 25
For rs 1000 if he can buy max of 15 cups then each price is Rs 66
2200 = 8 * 25 + 30 * 66 and remaining amount is 20 rupees

As given,
L+A=12 .....(1)
L+T=4 .......(2)
A=8+L
or L-A=-8 ......(3)
A=8+T .......(4)

Simply adding eq. 1 and 3
We get..

2L=4
So, L=2

since max 24 teacups for 600.min prize of tea cup is 25. and min prize of coffe cup is 66.then for 2200=8*25+30*66.so ans is 30 cofee cups can be bought at maximum.

The price for a cup of tea is:
+600+%2F+24+=+25+
rs. 25

8 cups of tea costs:
+8%2A25+=+200+
rs.200
--------------
That leaves him with:
+2200+-+200+=+2000+

rs.2000
---------------
The price of a cup of coffee is:
+1000%2F15+=+66.667+
rs.66.667
---------------
He can purchase:
+2000+%2F+66.667+=+30+
He can purchase a maximum of 30
cups of coffee
