34 is the odd one which should be replaced by 36 .
Since, two series are there in between.
First17,20,23,26
and second 12,24,34,48.
So, in order to to have multiple of 12 in second series,34 should be replaced by 36

Two series are there
17,20(17+3),23(20+3),26(23+3)
12,24(12*2),34(12*3=36),48(12*4)

34 is the odd one..
In this first we have to find the series..
17+3=20
20+3=23
23+3=26
Likewise next series is multiples of 12
12*2=24
12*4=48
12*3=36...instead of 36 it is given as 34.hence this is the odd one. Because first series is given no +3, the numbers correctly stick to that series.
