6 man together perform d work in 1 day is = 1/6+1/6= 2/6 parts
3 man 1 day work 1/6
3 man 2 days work 2/6
Remaining (1-2/6)=2/3 parts
2/6 parts completed in 1 day
2/3 parts wil b completed in = 2 days

work done by 3 men in one day=1/6
work done by 3 men in two day's=2/6
=1/3
remaining work=1-1/3
=2/3
3 more men are joined but the parts of work does not increase or decrease.
work done by 1 man in one day=1/18
(i.e if 3 men takes 6 days to complete a job then 1 man takes 18 days)
work done by 6 men in one day =6/18
=1/3
1 day 1/3 work
? 2/3 work
by cross multiplication,
2/3*3=2 days

the remaining work will be done by 6 men in 2 days

the work done in 2 days= 2*1/6=1/3th of work

remained work=1-1/3=2/3 th of work

the rate of doing work of 3 men=1/6th of work

so the rate of 6 men doing the same work=2*1/6=1/3 th of work
so no of days to complete the 2/3 of work=2*3/3= 2 days

3 men complete a job in 6 days -3 men * 6 days = 18 man days

In 2 days, the 3 men have completed 6 man days
18 man days − 6 man days = 12 man days left

There are now 3+3=6 men
12 man days / 6 men = 2 days

To complete remaining work(after 2 days) 3 men requires 4 days(In total 3 men requires 6 days for completion of whole work)
so,6 men requires (4X3)/6=2 days.
