10 marbles.

Green marbles = 4
Yellow marbles = 4
Blue marbles = 4

So, if we pick 8 marbles randomly, there may be a chance we chose 4marbles from one color and 4marbles from one color.

If we pick 9 marbles randomly means, there may be a chance we chose 4marbles from one color and 4marbles from one color and 1 marble from one color.

But, if we pick 10 marbles randomly, we sure that there are at least two of each color among the marbles you picked out.

In the first three pickings you may get 1 of each colour, on the 4th pick there will be at least two of one colour. Therefore,the answer is 4.

you have 12 marbles:
g g g g y y y y b b b b

In order to definitely 2 of one color --

So you take out g y b. Then the next one you take will be the 2nd for one of these marbles. So you need to take out 4.

If i pick 4 worst case is all the 4 marbels are of same color but when i pick the 5th one, it must be of 2nd color.

becoz if u pick 3 marbal then it may be same or mayn't be same..
